What is Evil Toad Confections?
It is a make-to-order cupcake and cake company in Utica, New York that makes classic flavors and flavors with a twist. All confections are made with the freshest ingredients (never a can or box).

Can I try a single cupcake?
Unfortunately, because there is not a storefront, this is not possible. Cupcake minimums are 1 dozen full sized or 2 dozen mini cupcakes. If you would like to do a tasting while planning for an upcoming event, I am happy to bake you up some tasters.

Can I order a mixed dozen?
So sorry! Because all orders are custom baked per order there are never any extra’s lying around. Each recipe has been created to ensure the tastiest cupcakes around! Cupcakes are sold by the dozen (standard size) or two dozen (mini size) in a single flavor and cannot mix dozens.

Can I pick up my cupcakes?
Yes! Cupcakes can be picked up.

Why do you need two days to make my order?
I make all cupcakes to order, fresh out of the oven and need a couple of days to work your order into my busy schedule to ensure I have all the delicious and freshest ingredients around.

How do I order?

Do you have a minimum order?
Yes, the minimum is one dozen standard or two dozen mini of one flavor combination.

Do you have a maximum order?
No, the more the merrier! Ask me and I will do my best to accommodate your order.

I have placed my order and paid. Can I cancel it or reduce the number of cupcakes?
Evil Toad Confections can offer a credit for canceled or reduced orders if I am notified at least 48 hours prior to the delivery/pickup time. I cannot accept cancellations or reduced orders within 48 hours of the delivery/pickup time. I will send a gift certificate of credit to the customer.

Do you have gift certificates?
Yes. Contact us to purchase gift certificates.

I have a gift certificate. How do I redeem it?
Your gift certificate has a number assigned to it. Call us with your gift certificate number before you place your order to request the credit be applied to your order.

Do you charge for delivery?
Yes, there is a minimal delivery fee based on your location. Please see the delivery page for further information.

What sizes do your cupcakes come in?
Cupcakes are available in standard and mini sizes. Standard size cupcakes are sold by the dozen and minis are sold by the two dozen.

What sizes do your cakes come in?
Cakes are available in a multitude of sizes, please contact me to discuss further.

Do you do weddings?
Happily, contact me to discuss your event. I would love to do a sampling for you, however set up or display of cupcakes/cakes is not automatic, this would be negotiable.

Can I send cupcakes/cakes as a gift?
Yes, they are perfect for any occasion. Brief messages can be accommodated, delivery charges will apply. Please note that orders must meet minimums.

I have allergies, am a vegan, and or don’t eat gluten. Is there a cupcake for me?
I can accommodate for nut allergies. All confections are baked in a kitchen that does not have nuts stored or used in it. I am not able to accommodate for vegan or gluten free…..yet.

How should I store my cupcakes?
Because all cakes and cupcakes are baked fresh and without preservatives, they are best if eaten within 48 hours of being received. If you refrigerate, please allow to them return to room temperature before serving for maximum flavor. Unless you like cold cupcakes, then go ahead and eat them right out of the fridge.

Can you leave my order on the porch?
I may not be home when you deliver.Because I bake everything to order using fresh, perishable ingredients, deliveries must be received in person.
